In 2017 our CEO Renisha Black oldest daughter Egypt asked to get her hair straighten. When asked why? Her response was she didn’t believe she was beautiful unless her hair was straight. In complete heartbreak Renisha knew she had to do something. Without hesitation she did the big chop to show her daughter that hair doesn't define your beauty and started a self love journey to build her self esteem. Little did she know in less than a year Beauty From The Roots would be born, January 2018, with a mission to promote self-love while using natural products.
